Parties

Artisanal Collective Inc. (“Artisanal Collective”, “we”, “us”) — operator of AEMS (AI Empowerment & Market Access System) at aems.artisanalcollective.org.
You — a person or organization invited to use AEMS as a Collaborator or Organization user.

By accepting an AEMS invitation and using Collaborator or Organization capabilities, you agree to these terms.

1. Simple terms of use for AEMS

You may use AEMS and the features and programmes it offers, only for lawful, good-faith support of artisans and artisan cooperatives.
You must keep login credentials secure and use an email others can access, on your behalf, if you are the Account Administrator.
You must not misuse AEMS, scrape data, or attempt to bypass security or artisan controls.
AEMS content and tools are provided for programme participation and market-access preparation; they do not replace legal, export, or regulatory advice.
Artisanal Collective may update these terms; continued use after notice means you accept the updated terms (notice via AEMS notification).

Creating or managing My Offerings or My Stories on behalf of an artisan (or cooperative) is allowed only when that artisan has approved you (your Collaborator or Organization account) to represent them in that capacity.
When you create an on-behalf listing, you attest that you are authorized to act for that artisan for that purpose.
Incorrect or willful misrepresentation of artisan authorization may lead to removal of content and/or termination of your AEMS access (see §6).

When you Publish an Offering or Story on behalf of a represented artisan, AEMS will generate an approval notice to the artisan.
Until the artisan Approves, the item stays Pending Artisan Approval (not fully Published for market use).
If the artisan Does not approve, the item returns to Draft / off-market for the helper path.
The artisan may approve or refuse each Offering or Story at any time. Refusal of one item does not automatically end the whole representation relationship (unless they also revoke representation — §4).

An artisan may Revoke (Terminate) Collaborator/Organization representation at any time (including from approval notices or from their AEMS relationship controls when available).
On revoke, you must stop creating or managing new on-behalf Offerings/Stories for that artisan.
Existing on-behalf items: AEMS may move them out of your active represented list, mark representation revoked, and/or return control to the artisan per product rules then in force.
The artisan may add a short note when revoking; you will be notified in AEMS and/or by email.

You (Collaborator or Organization) may end representation of an artisan at any time, with notice to the artisan when AEMS supports that flow.
Moving Offerings/Stories (for example to the artisan’s own control, or off your Team list) must follow AEMS product rules and must not strand the artisan without a clear status.
Ending representation does not give you rights to keep publishing under that artisan’s name.

Artisanal Collective may suspend or terminate your right to use AEMS at any time, for reasons including but not limited to:

- willful misrepresentation of artisan representation or consent;

- abuse of artisans, buyers, or other users;

- not abiding by the World Fair Trade Organization’s (https://wfto.com/) 10 principles of fair trade;

- serious breach of these terms or applicable law;

- programme or operational needs of the Living Heritage Lab.

Termination may include disabling invites, removing on-behalf privileges, and/or closing the account.
